Seven2one named “Top SME Employer in 2022”
Yourfirm.de, the leading online job board for SMEs in German-speaking countries, honoured Seven2one with the designation of “Top SME Employer 2022”.
The objective of the award is to bring the advantages of working in small and medium-sized enterprises to the attention of job seekers and to provide potential employees with guidance in their search for interesting employers in the SME sector.
What is special about this award is that it is not based on surveys, which often have low participation rates and thus need to be taken with a grain of salt. Instead, the access and reading behaviour of Yourfirm.de users is evaluated in regard to more than 60,000 job advertisements over the course of a year.
The evaluation criteria include:
The average number of users a company reaches per job advertisement and company profile
The percentage of users who actually read through the content, that is, remain on the page for long enough to actually take in the text that is there
The proportion of readers who take an application-related action, such as clicking “Apply now” or the company’s website link
Based on these three categories, a “popularity index” is determined for each employer. The 1,000 best-rated companies receive the “Top SME Employer 2022” seal of approval.
2021 was a challenging year. However, it is precisely in times of difficulty that the companies that are really on the right track are revealed. Businesses that continue to hire and grow in trying times such as these are robust and attractive employers.
It is also becoming increasingly difficult for companies to find the right talent. Top-notch employers in the SME sector therefore provide an additional argument to persuade potential talent. SME employers are becoming even more attractive in combination with their typical characteristics, such as the great speed of their decision-making, the opportunities they offer for quickly climbing the corporate ladder, their working environments in which employees are truly appreciated and treated like family, and the greater variety of tasks associated with each job.
